Bombing of Dresden in World War II

During World War II, there was a big fight between countries called Germany and England. Dresden was a city in Germany that had lots of buildings and people living in it. But, the English wanted to hurt Germany and make them stop fighting, so they sent lots of big airplanes to drop bombs on Dresden. This made lots of big explosions and fires that hurt many buildings and people. The bombing of Dresden was a very sad event because it hurt lots of innocent people who weren't even fighting in the war.
