Byzantine literature

Byzantine Literature is the type of literature that was written during the time when the Byzantine Empire existed (from the 4th to 15th centuries). People wrote books and stories during this time about many different topics. These books and stories were mostly written in rhyming verse or pictures. They often featured tales of heroes and gods, and told stories of love and adventure. Some topics they wrote about included politics, religion, and history. These works helped to shape the culture of the empire and can still be found today!
