Carbon finance

Carbon finance is like a game where people who help reduce the amount of carbon pollution get paid. Carbon pollution is the bad stuff that comes out of cars, factories, and power plants and makes the air dirty. When factories, power plants, and other businesses lower their carbon pollution, they get points (called carbon credits). They can then sell their points to other businesses that want to help clean up the air. The money these businesses get from selling their carbon credits is called carbon finance. Carbon finance is one way to encourage people and businesses to reduce carbon pollution and keep the world clean and healthy.
