ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Card stacking

Card-stacking is when someone presents information in a way that makes one side of an argument look much better than the other. For example, say someone is trying to decide if they should buy a new car. They can read a card-stacking article or advertisement about it that only talks about all the great features the car has and not mention any of the bad ones. This can make it seem like the car is perfect and make it harder for someone to make an informed decision.
