Chancery hand

Chancery hand is a fancy way of writing that people used a long time ago, kind of like how some people have really nice handwriting today. When you write in chancery hand, you have to make each letter look just right and take your time so that it looks pretty. It was a style of writing that lawyers and important people would use when they were writing really important documents. Nowadays, people don't really use chancery hand unless they're trying to make something look really old-fashioned or fancy.
