Citizen's arrest

A citizen's arrest is when a person who is not a police officer takes it upon themselves to arrest someone that they think has done something wrong. It is not something that most people should do, because it can be dangerous. If you do decide to do a citizen's arrest, remember to stay calm and call the police right away. If the person you are trying to arrest is acting in an unsafe way, it is best to get away from them and call the police.
