Cohesion is when things stick together. You know how magnets stick to the fridge, right? It's the same idea, but with stuff you can't see. All atoms have a little positive charge in the middle and negative charge around the outside, like a tiny planet with electrons orbiting it. These different charges help them to stick together and form molecules. And when the molecules stick to each other, it's called cohesion. Water is a good example of cohesion. The water molecule has a little bit of positive charge on one end and negative charge on the other. So when a lot of water molecules get near each other, they're attracted to each other and stick together. That's why water can form drops, or stick to the side of a glass.
