Colonization

Colonization is when one group of people take over another group of people's land, government, or resources. It usually happens when a stronger group moves into a weaker group's area and forces them out. It often happens when one country wants to take over another country and gain control over it. Colonization can also happen when a group of people moves in to an area and takes over the resources, such as natural resources, without the original inhabitants' permission.
