ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Compressor

So, have you ever blown up a balloon? When you blow air into the balloon, you're making the balloon bigger and more inflated, right?

Well, a compressor is kind of like a machine that blows air into things, but it does it waaay faster and better than you blowing up a balloon with your own breath.

It takes air from the outside and uses its power to squeeze it into a smaller space, making it really dense and powerful. This highly-compressed air can then be used to do all sorts of things, like powering tools or machines.

Think of a compressor like a super-fast and super-strong pump that can take regular air from the outside world and turn it into a powerful force that can do a lot of work!
