Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is a set of rules designed to make sure people with disabilities have the same rights as everyone else. It says that governments should make sure that people with disabilities can live and work in communities, have access to education, healthcare and other services, and take part in decisions that affect their lives. It also says that people with disabilities should be free from discrimination and violence.
