International human rights law

International human rights law is a set of laws that all countries in the world have agreed to follow. Its purpose is to make sure that everyone in the world is treated fairly and with respect. The laws say that all people should be able to live their life in freedom, and not be forced or hurt by other people or governments. They also say that people should have the right to things like a safe home, health care, an education, a job, and more. By following these laws, everyone around the world has more protection and can enjoy the same basic human rights.
