Crankshaft

A crankshaft is like a big metal wheel inside of a car. It's connected to the engine and when the car is running, the crank turns over and over again. Basically, the crank helps turn the engine and make it work. In other words, when you turn the key and start the car, the crankshaft is the one that makes everything go!
