They believe that just like how Protestants protested against the Catholic Church a long time ago, crypto-protestants want to protest against the traditional financial system.

So, you started playing with it in your own way, without listening to what your parents say. That's kind of what crypto-protestants are doing with Bitcoin and other digital currencies.

They think that using cryptocurrencies without any government or bank control is a way to have more freedom and privacy. Just like how some people like to play with their toys in their own way, crypto-protestants want to use Bitcoin in their own way without anyone telling them what to do.
