Digital information

Digital information is like regular information, but it's in a form that computers can understand. Computers can save digital information in a special way so that people can share it with each other easily. For example, a digital picture can be sent to somebody over the internet. That picture wasn't actually "sent" - it was just a copy of the same digital information that was copied and then sent.
