Domestic terrorism in the United States

Domestic terrorism in the United States is when people living in the United States (which is a country made up of states, cities, and towns) commit violent or destructive acts against people or property in the United States to try and achieve their own political, religious, or social goals. These acts are illegal and are often done to intimidate and scare people and spread a message of fear. Domestic terrorists might use bombs, guns, or other weapons to cause harm and try to get attention for their cause.
