Dramatic irony

Dramatic irony is when you know something that the characters in a story don't know yet. It's like a big secret that only you and maybe a few other people watching or reading the story know. It can be exciting to watch or read a story with dramatic irony because you get to see how the characters react to things without them knowing what's really going on. Sometimes it can be funny or scary, depending on the story. So basically, it's like having a special secret that makes the story even more interesting.
