Economic warfare

Economic warfare is when two countries or groups of countries try to hurt each other's economy. It is like an economic battle! One way they can do this is by trying to ruin the other's trade. For example, one group of countries may try to make it harder or even impossible for the other group of countries to buy and sell goods with other countries. Another way they can hurt each other is by putting taxes on goods that one group sells to the other, making the goods more expensive. This makes it harder for people in the other country to buy the goods.
