Electrical resistance

Electrical resistance is something that makes it harder for electricity to flow. It’s like a mountain river with lots of rocks in it; the water has to bump and crash against the rocks, making it harder for it to flow and making it a slower process. The same is true for electricity - electrical resistance makes it harder for electricity to flow and can slow it down.
