Electromechanics

Electromechanics is a branch of engineering that combines electricity and mechanics together. It is like a mix of two other branches of engineering: electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. Electrical engineering is about studying how electricity works and how to make and use different kinds of electrical machines and equipment. Mechanical engineering is about understanding the mechanical parts of machines, like the motors that make them work. Electromechanics uses the ideas of both of these branches to design machines and devices that are both electrical and mechanical. For example, a washing machine is electromechanical because it has an electric motor to make it move and electrical circuits and components to control it.
