English law

English law is the system of law that is used in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It's a set of laws that tells us how to behave and the punishments for breaking them. English law is based on things like previous court cases and laws passed by Parliament. It covers everything from how to protect people's rights, to how businesses and companies should work.
