Equal Protection Clause

The Equal Protection Clause is part of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. It says that the government must treat everyone the same and not give any special privileges to certain people. This means that the government can't treat someone differently just because of their race, religion, or gender, for example. Everyone should be given the same rights and opportunities.
