Erosion control

Erosion control is a way of stopping the land and soil near rivers, lakes, and oceans from washing away. This is important because it helps keep all the plants, animals, and people in the area safe. Erosion control can be done in a few different ways. We can build walls and barriers near the water, to help keep the water from washing away too much land. We can also put plants and rocks around rivers and on the shore, to slow down how quickly the water moves. Finally, people can also help by not dumping too much garbage or other material into the rivers and oceans – this can help slow down erosion too!
