Garden hose

A garden hose is a long rubber or plastic tube that connects to a water source, like a faucet outside your house, and is used to water plants, flowers, and vegetables in your garden. It is like a long straw that you use to drink from a glass of water, but instead of sucking the water up, the water flows out of the hose and onto the plants you want to water.

There are different types of garden hoses. Some are made of rubber, which are really strong and durable but can be heavy to carry around. Others are made of lightweight plastic, which are easy to carry around but can be less durable and get tangled easily.

To use a garden hose, you turn on the water source and then point the end of the hose at the plants you want to water. You can adjust the flow of water by turning the nozzle at the end of the hose. You can also attach special accessories to the hose, like a sprinkler or a nozzle with different spray patterns, to help you water your garden more efficiently.

When you are done using the garden hose, you should turn off the water source and let the water run out of the hose. This will help prevent the hose from getting moldy or clogged. You can then coil up the hose and store it away until you need it again.
