Gossip is when people talk about other people or their lives. It can be either good things or bad things, but it is usually based on rumors or someone else's opinion. Usually gossip happens when people are bored or don't have anything else to talk about. Gossiping can be hurtful and can spread or even start rumors around. It's best to avoid gossiping as it can cause a lot of hurt feelings.
