Green revolution

The Green Revolution was a time when farmers used new technologies to make more food. Farmers planted new kinds of seeds that were hardier and could grow better in different kinds of weather. They also used machines to help them work the fields, like tractors and plows, and they used special fertilizers and chemicals to help the plants grow. All of these new ways of farming made it possible to grow much more food than before.
