Grid-connected photovoltaic power system

A grid-connected photovoltaic power system is a way of using energy from the sun to power things. It has special panels called photovoltaic (or PV for short) that are put on the roof (or somewhere sunny) to capture energy from the sun. This energy is then converted into electrical energy that is used to run lights, appliances, and other things. The energy is connected with the power grid, which is a system of wires that sends electricity from one place to another. So any extra energy that is made will be sent to the power grid and other people can use it.
