Hamangia culture was a group of people from a long time ago who lived in a place called the Balkans. They were really good at making things with their hands like pottery (that's like a fancy bowl or cup), sculptures (that's like a statue that they made out of clay), and other really cool things.
They also liked to fish, hunt, and grow crops for food. They were really good at making food out of what they had and they would cook fish, grain, and meat over a fire to eat.
They were very creative and made beautiful clay figurines that looked like people, animals, and things in nature like flowers and trees. They would sometimes paint these figurines with special colors to make them look even more beautiful.
The Hamangia people lived a long time ago, even before your parents or grandparents were born, and we know about them because they left behind things like their pottery and sculptures for us to see and learn about.
