Hanjian

Hanjian is a Chinese word that means "traitor" or "collaborator" in English. It refers to a person who works with or supports an enemy of their own country.

For example, if someone from China helped a foreign country to invade China or gave secret information to a foreign country, they would be called a hanjian.

It is considered a very serious crime in China and is often punished with imprisonment or even death. This is because it is believed that a hanjian is betraying not only their country, but also their fellow citizens and the values that their nation stands for.

Being accused of being a hanjian is a very serious charge and can have severe consequences for both the accused and their families.
