History of England

England is a country located in Europe. It has a long history, stretching back thousands of years. People used to live in England way before there was anything like the United Kingdom or modern Britain. In the beginning, there were lots of different tribes living in what is now England. Over time, some of these tribes wanted to be part of the same country, so they all decided to become united.

Around the early 1000s, the country of England was officially born. It was ruled by Kings and Queens, who had a lot of power. They were powerful enough to give orders to people and make laws.

During the 1500s and 1600s, England went through lots of changes. It was part of different empires, and it also had a lot of battles that changed its borders.

In the 1700s, the people of England created their own parliament and even started writing laws. In 1801, England became part of a larger country called the United Kingdom with Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. This marked the beginning of modern Britain that we know today.
