Holography

Holography is a special way of taking pictures. Instead of taking a flat picture like you do with a normal camera, when you take a hologram, you can make it look like the object is still there even when you touch it or move it around. The way this works is by using a laser to make a pattern of light that is like a 3D image of the object. The laser splits into two parts, one part shines on the object, and the other part shines on the special film. When the light from the two lasers mix they create a pattern that is like a 3D version of the object. This 3D version of the object is what is called a hologram.
