Hydrography

Hydrography is the study of the bodies of water on Earth. It looks at things like where the water is, how deep it is, and how much it covers the land. Hydrographers (people who study hydrography) use maps and measuring tools to collect information about the water. They use this information to study the environment and how it is changing over time.
