Identity (social science)

Identity is who we are and how we think of ourselves. It's how we define and express ourselves in the world. It's made up of different things like our nationality, gender and beliefs. We learn a lot of our identity from our family, friends, teachers, and culture. Identity can also change over time as we experience different things in life.
