Immigrant language

So, immigrant language is when somebody comes to live in a new country and they have to learn a new language. Just like when you start going to school and have to learn new words and how to read and write. It can be hard because they might not understand what people are saying or be able to talk to them. But with practice and patience, they can learn the new language and understand and communicate with everyone around them.
