Opposition to immigration

Opposition to immigration is when people believe that too many people from other countries should not be allowed to move to the country they live in. People may be worried that if too many immigrants come to their country, they won't have enough jobs or resources to share, or they may worry that their culture will be changed. The government may also be worried that some of the immigrants may do bad things that hurt other people, so they don't want them to be allowed in.
