ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

In-situ conservation

In-situ conservation means conserving plants and animals in the natural environment where they live. It's like putting a fence around a large area so that wild animals can feel safe and protected from things like hunting. In-situ conservation also includes things like making sure plants have enough water and sunlight or that there are enough trees for wildlife to use for food or shelter. It's about protecting the environment which plants and animals need to survive.
