Information systems

Information systems are used to collect, store and process information. They help us to find the information we need quickly, store it safely and use it in different ways. Think of a library, for example. A library is an information system where we can find books and other resources and use them to learn more. The same idea applies to computers. They use programs and databases to store and retrieve data. They also allow us to quickly and easily find the information we need, like searching for a book in a library.
