Institutional abuse

Institutional abuse is when people in positions of power use their power to take advantage of other people. This can range from treating someone unfairly or unfairly blaming them, to physical or sexual assault. It is important to know that institutional abuse can happen in any situation where someone has power or authority over another person, such as in a school, at work, in a care home, or in a family.
