ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Isaiah 31

Isaiah 31 is a part of a big book called the Bible. It's like a big collection of stories and messages from a long time ago. In this part, Isaiah is talking to some people who are thinking about asking other countries for help instead of asking God for help.

Isaiah is saying that this is a bad idea. He's saying that God is like a big, strong lion who will protect his people. If they try to find help in other places, it's like they're running away from the lion, and they'll get hurt.

Isaiah wants the people to trust in God and have faith in him. When they do that, God will always help them and keep them safe. So, the message is to trust in God instead of looking for help in other places.
