Kanheri Caves

Kanheri Caves are a bunch of really old caves in India that were made by people called Buddhists. These caves are in a big park called the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, which is a very pretty and green place. The Buddhists made these caves many, many years ago by chipping away at rocks with really big hammers and chisels.

There are more than 100 of these caves in the park, and each of them is different and special in its own way. Some of the caves are big, some are small, and some are super fancy with really pretty carvings and statues.

Back when the Buddhists made these caves, they used to go there to do their prayers and show their love and respect for their religion. They would also use the caves as places to live and sleep.

Today, people can come and visit the Kanheri Caves to see what it was like back then when the Buddhists used to hang out there. It’s a really cool and interesting way to learn about different cultures and traditions.
