Kickback (bribery)

Hello kiddo! So, you know when mommy and daddy give you a treat for doing something good? Well, sometimes grown-ups give treats or money to other grown-ups when they want them to do something for them that might not be good for everyone else. That's called a "kickback" or "bribery".

And let's say you and your friend had a toy that you both wanted to play with but your friend didn't want to share. If you gave them some candy, they might let you play with the toy, but that's not fair to everyone else who wanted to play. That's why kickbacks and bribery can be bad because it's not fair to everyone else and can make important decisions be based on selfish reasons rather than what's best for everyone.
