Luke 23 is a chapter in the Bible that tells a story about a man named Jesus. He was a very kind and loving person who helped many people. However, not everyone liked him and some were jealous of how much people loved him.
One day, Jesus was arrested and brought before a court to be judged by several important people. They accused him of saying things that were not true and trying to cause problems. However, Jesus knew he was innocent and did not defend himself.
The people who accused him decided that he was guilty and deserved a punishment. They decided to make him carry a big wooden cross up on a hill and then nail him to it with big nails. He suffered a lot, and many people watched in sorrow.
Even though Jesus was in a lot of pain, he remained kind and forgiving. He asked God to forgive the people who did this to him and said that he loved them. Eventually, he died while on the cross.
But the story does not end here. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, and this event changed the world forever. It showed that even though bad things may happen, there is always hope for good things to come.
