Mandi (food)

Mandi is a type of tasty food that is commonly eaten in many countries in Middle East and Asia. It is usually made with a combination of long-grain rice, meat - chicken, lamb, or beef - and a variety of spices.

To make mandi, the meat is first marinated with spices such as cardamom, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and black pepper for several hours to give it a delicious flavor. Then, the meat is cooked in a clay oven or a pit dug in the ground, which is usually covered with a lid to trap in the heat.

While the meat is cooking, the rice is also prepared separately, usually by washing it and then soaking it in water for about half an hour. The rice is then cooked with spices, water, and sometimes, a bit of oil to give it more flavor and texture.

Once both the rice and the meat are cooked, they are combined together and served on a big platter or tray. It’s a big meal that can be shared with friends and family!

So, in short, mandi is a delicious dish made of flavorful meat and rice that is cooked together and served as a big, tasty meal to share with others.
