ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Mannaz

Mannaz is a special letter in an old alphabet called the runic alphabet that was used by some people who lived a long time ago called the Vikings. Mannaz looks like two little stick people standing next to each other holding hands. It makes a special sound when you say it like "m" just like the first letter in "mommy".

People who study this alphabet say that Mannaz stands for "man" or "human" and it reminds us that even though we might look and think differently, we are all human and should be kind to each other. It's like everyone is holding hands together and working together to be happy and healthy. So, Mannaz is very important because it reminds us to be nice to others and treat them with respect.
