Molecular biology is the study of things that are very small- even smaller than the cells that make up your body! Scientists who study molecular biology use special tools to look at tiny molecules and atoms, which are the building blocks of living things. Inside of every living thing, there are molecules that make up the different parts of us, like our eyes and heart. By studying molecular biology, scientists can learn about how different molecules interact with each other and how they help create the things that make us who we are.
