Okay, kiddo! So, imagine you have a friend named Sarah. She is a Muslim, which means she follows a religion called Islam. Just like some people are Catholic or Jewish, Sarah is Muslim.

Muslims believe in one God, called Allah, and they believe that Allah sent a prophet named Muhammad to teach people the right way to live. They also believe in angels, and they think that everyone will be judged after they die based on how they lived their lives.

Muslims have certain rules they follow to please Allah. They pray five times a day, facing toward a special building called the Kaaba in Mecca. They also fast during the month of Ramadan, which means they don't eat or drink anything during daylight hours. They give to charity and try to be good to other people.

Muslims come from many different countries, and they don't all look the same or speak the same language. But they all share these beliefs and practices, and they try to live their lives in a way that honors Allah.
