Nudge theory is a way of suggesting choices to people, to help them make good decisions. It works by putting choices in front of people that are easy to make and have the best result. For example, if you are trying to decide what breakfast to eat, you might put the healthiest options at the top of your list, so that you remember to choose them. You're not being told what to do, you're just being nudge - or gently pushed - in the right direction.
