ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Overexploitation

Overexploitation means using too many of something. For example, if we cut down too many trees, there won't be enough trees for everyone to use. This can make it harder for us to get the things that trees provide like oxygen, shade, and wood for making things like furniture. Overexploitation can happen to any natural resources like water, plants, and animals. People can prevent overexploitation by only using the resources they need, so that everyone can use them.
