Peace for our time

Dear little one, do you know what peace means? It means that everyone is getting along and there is no fighting, yelling or hurting each other.

Now, sometimes countries can be like people and they don’t always get along either. They might argue about things like who gets to have what land or who has more power. And when countries argue, it can turn into a big fight called a war.

Back in the olden days, there was a really big war called World War II. It was very scary and a lot of people got hurt or died. But eventually, the war ended and everyone wanted to make sure that it never happened again. That’s where “peace for our time” comes in.

“Peace for our time” means that countries promised to try their best to get along and not fight again. It’s like making a promise to be kind to each other and talk out our problems instead of hurting each other.

It’s important to remember that peace isn’t just something that happens by itself, it’s something that people have to work on every day. But if we all make an effort to be peaceful and kind towards each other, we can have a happier and safer world.
