ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Personal genomics

Personal genomics is a type of testing that looks at your DNA, which is the instruction manual that tells your body how to grow and develop. In this type of testing, scientists look at your DNA and use it to find out special things about you and your family. With this information, scientists can tell things like what eye color you are likely to have, what diseases you might be at risk of getting, and even how you might react to certain medicines.
