Position of trust

A position of trust is a job or responsibility that involves taking care of someone else or something else that belongs to someone else. For example, if your family has money, they might hire someone to help them manage it. This person would be in a position of trust because they are responsible for making sure that the money is used wisely and for the benefit of the family. They would also be trusted to make sure that no one steals the money or spends it in a way that is not good for the family.
